CCCOG MID-YEAR CELEBRATION 2024
As we pass the halfway point of our fiscal year, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible journey we’ve shared together and to reflect on all that God has accomplished in and through our church family. This is a time for gratitude, growth, and looking forward!
Dear C3 Family,
C3 Family Milestones:
Spiritual Growth:
We’ve welcomed new members into our family and celebrated numerous baptisms. Each of these milestones is a testament to God’s work in the lives of individuals and families within our community.
Community Outreach:
We value being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community and many of our C3 Family are serving in numerous capacities across Lewis and south Thurston counties. Summer Sports Jam continues to reach kids and families with the love of Jesus through the willing hearts of our many volunteers. This year we partnered with the Lewis County Youth Mentorship program donating shoes for the back-to-school event in August.
Connection:
Our small group ministry with Refresh, Support, and Connect groups, along with events and gatherings have strengthened our bonds as a church family. The connections formed during this time have been beautiful to witness, reminding us of the importance of being a Family ON Mission.
C3 Family Financial Update:
We want to partner with Jesus to support our community and our church family; we dream of becoming a church marked by radical generosity. We are grateful to report that, halfway through our fiscal year, we are within 2% of our budget. Thanks to your generosity and commitment; here are some highlights:
Tithes & Offerings: We have seen a slight decline in this area (-14%) and trust God to lead us as we desire to see His Kingdom come and will be done. To partner with C3 go to cccog.com/give.
Capital: Thank you for your continued support of our capital improvements. We have been able to finish a number of projects (gym roof, gym bathroom floors, painted parking lot lines), continuing irrigation and seeding of our open field, while still others are waiting for the green light (HVAC, siding, church house, to name a few).
Global & Local Missions: 17 Mission Partners continue to be supported through your generous giving. Our desire is to fully support each of our partners as they serve God both near and far.
C3 Family Future:
As we look ahead, we are filled with hope and excitement. Our vision for the remainder of the year includes:
Intentional Partnerships: We aim to deepen our community involvement with intentional partnership existing throughout the year. In November we’ll fill totes and deliver them to the local schools to be distributed by counselors to students in need during this Thanksgiving season.
Discipleship Opportunities: Our goal is to pattern our lives after Jesus and to have a Jesus-shaped life. Plans for 2025 are underway as we seek God’s direction for discipleship and spiritual formation opportunities for our C3 Family.
Facility Improvements: The Property and Finance Committee is diligently working through Building and Capital improvements and setting goals for the year, in the next 5 years, and 10 years. We desire to steward well what God has provided and where previous generations have faithfully sacrificed.
Join Us for Our Grateful Gathering
Wednesday November 20th at 6pm join us as we celebrate a generous God as a grateful C3 Family. We’ll gather for an evening of food, fellowship, and gratitude as we reflect on our journey and look forward to where God is leading us.
Thank You!
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing support, prayers, and service. Your contributions—whether through time, talent, or treasure—are vital to the mission. Together, as C3 Family ON Mission we can continue to shine the light of Christ in our community and beyond.
Blessings,
Devin Burton
