You belong here.

Centralia Community Church wants to make a lasting difference in your life, in our community, and in the world. How do we go about that? By leading people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. That's the driving purpose behind everything we do. CCCOG isn't a building...it's people. And we have some pretty cool people here! People in all stages of their faith - people like you.

OUR VISION:

Transforming the spiritual landscape of our community for generations to come.

Relaxed atmosphere, enjoyable music, and engaging programs.

This is a place where you can come as you are, not a place where everyone has it all together. CCCOG is a safe place to explore and grow in your faith- join us this week!

We currently have one Sunday morning service at 10am in the Sanctuary. The entire service should be approximately an hour. Our Bible-based messages are both practical and relevant to your life, taught in a way that is both understandable and engaging.

Our services are also live streamed here on our website, on Facebook, or on YouTube.

OUR MISSION:

Reaching our community with the love of Jesus and raising up disciples who impact our world.

CCCOG Building

 Approaching the building:

We have a small parking lot in the "front" of our church (along Borst Ave) and a large parking lot in the "back" (along Eshom). If you park in the front lot, the "Office Entrance" will be the best place for you to enter. If you park in the back lot, you will see a sign for our Main Entrance. Look for the signs that say "WELCOME."

What should I expect?

Our Sunday atmosphere is relaxed and casual. When coming in through the Commons, you will see our C3 Kids check-in counter; you can check in your infants through 5th graders there. Toddlers and infants can go to their rooms right away, and preschool through high school will join their families in the Sanctuary. After worship, C3 Kids and Youth will be dismissed and are invited to go to the Family Life Center (gym) for age-specific lessons, activities, and conversation. Families can pick them up at the conclusion of the service in the Family Life Center (gym).

What is there for kids?

We have a great kids' program (C3 Kids) for children from birth through 5th grade and for middle/high schoolers (Illuminate Youth)! Our nursery and toddler rooms are located at the west end of the building, closer to the Sanctuary and office areas. Just bring your kids to the "Kids Welcome Center" in the main Commons and one of our friendly volunteers will check them in and show you where to go!

THE NEXT STEP AFTER SALVATION:

Baptism is going public about your faith in Jesus.

What we believe:

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority on all matters of faith. (2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12-13; Romans 15:4)

  • We believe in one God who created all things and who exists in three persons (Trinity): Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Acts 17:24-28: Matthew 3:16-17; John 14:9-10)

  • We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son and was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, was resurrected from death, and ascended to heaven where he sits at the Father’s right hand. We believe that Jesus will come again to claim his bride, the church. (John 3:16; Matthew 1:18; Romans 5:6-11; John 20:24-31)

  • We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within all believers, empowering our lives with his presence and power to live a godly life and accomplish God’s will. (John 16:5-15; Romans 8:10-11; 1 Cor. 3:16)

  • We believe that man willfully sinned against God and is therefore lost and without hope apart from Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:7; Acts 4:12)

  • We believe that death seals the eternal destiny of each person. The saved will inherit eternal life whereas the unsaved will be eternally separated from God. (Romans 8:9-14; Daniel 12:2; John 6:47)

  • We believe that salvation (eternal life in heaven) comes by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ (his death on the cross). (Matthew 26:28; Romans 5:8-11; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)

  • We believe the Biblical pattern for receiving Christ includes acknowledging that Jesus Christ is God’s Son, repenting from personal sin, and inviting Christ to be Lord of your life. (1 John 1:8-9; Romans 6:1-7)

  • We believe that the church is the body and bride of Christ and consists of Christians everywhere. (Matthew 16:13-18; Acts 2:14-47)

  • We believe in water baptism by immersion for those who have accepted Christ as their Savior. We practice regular observance of communion as a means of remembering Christ’s sacrifice and death on the cross. We perform child dedications to acknowledge the parents’ desire to raise their child in the ways and instruction of the Lord. (Matthew 3:13-17; Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Proverbs 22:6)
