CCCOG ANNUAL REPORT 2026

REFLECTING ON 2025

March 2026

Dear C3 Family,

I am filled with deep gratitude for the ways God has been at work among us this past year. When we look back, we can see that this has been a year marked not primarily by programs or activity, but by a growing desire to listen to the voice of the Father and respond with faithful obedience.

At C3, our mission continues to shape everything we do: to be a Family ON Mission who desires to live a Jesus-shaped life, together as a Jesus-shaped church, to see a world shaped by Jesus. This vision is not simply a phrase we say, it is a way of life we are learning to live out together.

Throughout this past year, we have sought to intentionally create space to hear from God. As a church family we have gathered in prayer, lifted our voices together in worship, and opened the Scriptures with expectancy that the Father would speak to us. Week after week we have reflected on God’s Word, listening for the invitations of Jesus, and offering exhortations that call us to deeper trust, deeper love, and deeper obedience.

In many ways, one of the most beautiful expressions of our life together has been the simple act of gathering as family. Around tables, in living rooms, and in worship spaces, we have practiced the rhythms that shape us to be like Jesus. We have prayed together, broken bread together, shared stories of faith, confessed struggles, and celebrated the goodness of God. Through these moments we are discovering again that the church is not merely a place we attend, it is a family we belong to.

Our Refresh Groups and Learning Communities have been a vital part of this life together. Opening our homes to one another has allowed us to cultivate spaces where discipleship is woven into everyday life. In these groups we read and reflect on Scripture, practice spiritual disciplines, pray for one another, and encourage each other to follow Jesus in the ordinary rhythms of our lives. These gatherings remind us that transformation often happens in small circles where people are known, loved, and encouraged.

As a Family ON Mission, we also continue to look outward with the heart of Jesus. God has given us opportunities to serve in our community and to care for our neighbor and the stranger. Whether through acts of generosity during our Mission Sunday, partnerships in the community with our local Mission Partners, or simply choosing to be present with our neighbors, we have sought to see people the way Jesus sees them, as beloved image bearers of God. In these moments we are reminded that mission is not a project; it is a posture of love, humility, and hospitality; for God’s mission is not the Church, God’s mission in the world has a Church.

We have also continued to cultivate rhythms that help us hear and follow God more faithfully. Practicing spiritual disciplines together: Sabbath, prayer, fasting, and Scripture has helped anchor our lives in Christ. These rhythms give shape to our identity as a Jesus-shaped people and help us remain attentive to the Spirit’s leading.

When I look at our church family, I see a community learning to live with open hands and open hearts, welcoming people to the table, making room for others, and trusting that God is forming us into something beautiful together. This is what it looks like to be a Family ON Mission: not striving to be everything for everyone, but walking closely with Jesus and inviting others to join us along the way. As we look ahead, I believe God will continue to deepen these rhythms in us. Our prayer is not simply that we would grow larger, but that we would grow more faithful, more attentive to the voice of the Father, more responsive to the work of the Spirit, and more reflective of the love of Jesus in our community. Thank you for the ways you continue to show up as the Church. Your prayers, your generosity, your willingness to open your homes, your service to one another, and your love for our neighbors all bear witness to the work of God with us.

Together, may we continue to live as a Family ON Mission: living Jesus-shaped lives, together as a Jesus-shaped church, so that the world around us may increasingly be shaped by Jesus.

Blessings,
Pastor Devin

I have been a Christian my whole life, blessed to grow and mature in my walk through many seasons. God has blessed me with gifts of faith and discernment.  I was baptized in the Methodist church as a baby, so I decided in college to be baptized a second time, as a public declaration of my faith. My faith is central to my existence; I love the Lord. I love prayer, God’s word, God’s music, and I love this church.   We have been at CCCOG for over 30 years. I have been married to my sweetie, Bill, for 49 years in April. God has blessed us with 5 kids and 12 grandkids (2 of whom already live in heaven). I love my family and we are very close. My hobbies are music, gardening, Disney, embroidery, puzzles, and studying history. I am so grateful to be asked to serve in this new way and I am excited to see what God brings next.

  • First Term, First Year

I have been a follower of Jesus since I was 10 years old. I grew up in the church as a pastor’s kid and have had the opportunity to teach children, youth, as well as lead adults and small groups. I have also had the privilege of serving previously on the elder board at CCCOG. I’ve been married to K’Lynn for 40 years and we have two children and two wonderful grandchildren. I have a strong desire to see people learn and grow in their walk with Christ. An important verse to me is Colossians 1:10; “We pray that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way.” Some things that I enjoy doing are, spending time with family, watching and playing sports, as well as coaching. I am excited to see how God is working at CCCOG.
