What’s Happening at C3
In November, we will be showing love to our community by distributing “Thanksgiving Totes.” To partner with us in this annual outreach, please drop off your checks or cash in an offering box or to the church office (any amount is helpful - indicate that your gift is for the Thanksgiving Totes). You can also give online and select "Thanksgiving Totes" in the drop down menu. All items/donations are due by Sunday, November 23rd.
C3 Youth - we are going bowling on Sunday, November 23rd at 1pm! Let's hang out and have some fun. We will meet at Fairway Lanes. Register by Thursday, 11/20, so we can be sure to reserve enough lanes!
We are looking forward to a great Christmas season here at C3 and we’d love to have your help decorating for Christmas. Stop by the church and lend a hand if you’re available to help on Tuesday, November 25 from noon-2pm.
Last month was a huge success - so we’re doing it again! On Friday, November 28th, order online for delivery or pickup at any nationwide Panda Express and enter in code 9007330 in the Fundraiser Code box during online checkout and our students going to IYC 2026 will receive 28% of the sales from that day! Enjoy some delicious food while supporting our youth as they go to the International Youth Convention in Cincinnati! pandaexpress.com
Youth, join us and invite a friend as we progress through host homes providing different aspects of dinner on Sunday, December 7th from 4-7pm! We'll have a fun, fast-paced time full of celebration and don't forget to wear your tacky Christmas sweater! Register today.
We invite senior adults for a Christmas potluck lunch on Tuesday, December 9th at noon for a meal, connection, and singing with Two Town Sound Quartet. We will also have a gift exchange; bring a wrapped regifted or new item (not to exceed $15) plus a dish to share!
C3 Family, you are invited to join us for this fun community event on Saturday, December 13th! Start the afternoon off at Holy Grounds for cocoa or cider on us (other drinks available for purchase) and get a preview of the Tractor Parade floats on Centralia College Blvd! Then make the short walk to Main Street to watch the parade and cheer on the C3 float! This holiday tradition is a local favorite and we are pleased to be a part of it!
We have a giving tree in the Commons that benefits local schools (Centralia HS, WF West, and Green Hill) in need in our community. Grab a tag, purchase a gift, and return it (unwrapped) to the church by December 14th.
For some people, the holiday season does not bring a lot of joy and cheer. Sometimes, the season increases the level of grief for the losses we have faced. This Blue Christmas service is creating space for the voids we feel during this season while clinging to the hope that can be found. No matter the feelings of loss, they are significant in many ways. It would be easy to push aside those feelings for the sake of the season, but God offers the gift of comfort, healing, and peace. Are we willing to be honest about our hurts and bring them before Christ?
You are invited to come and share this space with others as a pause in the midst of a season meant for joy and celebration. Join us on Wednesday, December 17th at 6pm. Please invite others who may need this time to pause and reflect as well.
You are seen. You are loved. You are remembered.
