Short answer: yes.
When purchasing with an attached bank account it is a $0.29 fee per transaction. When purchasing using a credit card, it is a 2.6% fee per transaction. A debit card will have a transaction fee of 1%. Each fee type is paid by you while purchasing the gift cards. For example, a $20 gift card purchased using your linked bank account will be $20.29 withdrawn from your bank.

The type of transaction determines how long it takes to get the gift card. E-gift cards purchased with an attached bank account arrive in your RightRaise wallet almost instantaneously once the purchase is complete.
E-gift cards purchased using a credit card take a little longer (during a test, it took around 20 minutes).
Physical gift cards purchased will arrive within 2 weeks from the order date as they will have to be ordered by our Account Coordinator and there are shipping fees attached to any physical gift card purchase.

RaiseRight uses Plaid, a secure third party verification software which allows RaiseRight to verify your account information.
-
As you register, you’ll have the chance to enter a specific student or family name. That will then associate any of your purchases with their family earnings.
-
If an account is not associated with anyone specific, the entire rebate amount will be put into the general IYC fund which may be used for student scholarships or mentor chaperone fees.
