Jesus’ interaction with a Gentile woman stands in contrast to the arrogance of the Pharisees earlier in the chapter. This Canaanite woman, desperate in her plight, displays a heart posture of worship, belief, and humility as opposed to their religious superiority. We can approach Jesus with this same humility, persistence, and faithfulness… A Jesus-shaped church on mission.

What if the ordinary rhythms of your life are where God is already forming something new? As we follow Him through stories of seeds and soil, faith and doubt, scarcity and abundance, we begin to see the Kingdom breaking into the here and now. This is where transformation begins - where we are shaped into His likeness and learn to live as a people formed by His presence… a working model of new creation.
