The pull to climb higher, be the best, have the influence keeps us further from walking with Jesus. If our attention is on these things we will miss the invitation to the table Jesus is preparing for us. Do we have the eyes of Christ to see the lowly, the powerless and the poor?

We are choosing to walk with Jesus, and on this journey we learn that we’re meant to be in community. When we construct borders that keep us from God, we miss the joy of the Lord. Do we have the eyes of Christ when we see the “others” in our life? As we approach the throne in faith, we will find freedom, salvation, rest, and compassion. Let’s begin enlarging the circle.
