C3 Family Ministry
At C3, we are a Family ON Mission. We live Jesus-shaped lives, forming Jesus-shaped communities, creating a Jesus-shaped world.
Our youth and kids are active participants of the church and what God has for us, now; not just in the future. We do ministry and invest in the places we live, work, and play with this in mind.
Ultimately, we want students to remember that God is the Creator of the Universe; we are fully made and loved by Him; we can love Him with all of our heart, souls, and minds; and we will share His love with others.

C3 Family Areas
C3 Nursery & Toddlers
These are our littles! Donna and Megan head up this area, giving consistent care to our children.
C3 Kids
- Check-in: Become familiar with our Planning Center platform (used to sign in students and get nametags), check-in students, and welcome new students. Our C3 Kids mentors who check in students are likely one of the first people a new family speaks with at C3. Commitment: Sunday mornings 9:45-10:15 & other meetings as announced.
- Assistants: Provide extra support to C3 Kids and teachers; prep snacks, and other tasks as assigned on a Sunday Morning. Commitment: Sunday mornings 10:30-11:30 & other meetings as announced.
- Teachers: Teaching the lessons to students. Often, this requires a little more preparation throughout the week. We ask that you sit with the lesson to be able to teach from something you are learning. Commitment: Sunday mornings 10:30-11:30, other meetings as announced, and preparing lessons throughout the week. - C3 Youth (Illuminate)- Mentors help facilitate discussions, show up for students, and act as a positive mentor to the students. At times, there is need for drivers for events and outings. Commitment: Wednesday nights 6-8pm and/or Sunday mornings 9:45-11:30am, and other meetings as announced.

Leading
Part of leading is knowing what your students need, which is helped by knowing where they are. Learning about their context helps to communicate with people who are in different stages of life.
- Axis is great for those working with 4th-12th graders
Learning the Bible
- Bible Study by Zach Windahl
- The Bible Recap by Tara-Leigh Cobble
Training Processes
It’s quick, but we try to go through the square method week by week as we train volunteers. It’s our goal that a volunteer will be trained within a month of their commitment.
